Holding Themed Weddings At A Luxury Hotel

Staying in luxury hotels are no longer a privilege to the rich and wealthy. More people are enjoying the five star treatments when travelling away for a short break or holiday, because these hotels now offer discounts, deals and cheap prices at certain periods of the year. However, staying in a hotel like this is a holiday in itself because of high quality services provided to their guests. Many of these experiences include spa treatment, sports and restaurant and bar entertainment.

The whole point of luxury hotels are their ability to keep you comfortable and relaxed, with the option of going sightseeing. Some hotels have curfews and specific regulations due the high standards of the hotel and their efforts to preserve their reputation for being a luxury hotel. Most of all, they pride themselves in accommodating for functions and events such as weddings, business conferences etc.

Holding weddings at a luxury hotel is ideal for both the bride and groom, as they will not have to worry about travelling from one point to the other and can book a room in advance to take time in getting ready. Furthermore, the reception and celebration can be held in the main hall, which will be catered for and decorated professionally. Often, these hotels will offer discounts for large groups and may even throw in a discount to one of the bedrooms.

Having wedding functions at luxury hotels guarantees you a good destination, no worries in terms of catering for food and they will always accommodate for a live band to play. Many of the well-known hotels are situated in ideal destinations for weddings to be held. Those looking for a destination wedding, will see the advantages of enjoying the reception as well as doubling it up to a honeymoon. Among the more popular destination weddings are beach weddings, which is available for people keeping to a budget.

One thing to consider is how many seats the hotel will take. This kind of information will need to be determined long before the wedding, but the average number can range between 50 to 100 guests in a reception hall. However, if there are more guests then the cheaper option is to have two seating's, but the easier option is to hire another room for dining. Expensive hotels tend to be larger; you will need to make sure that this number is clear in your head so there are no problems with seating arrangements.

Luxury hotels are also ideal for bridal showers and hen nights. These will provide for spa treatment and beauty therapy before the wedding day. This also can include complimentary meals and champagne. Very often, other facilities such as use of swimming pools, Jacuzzi baths, steam rooms and sauna will be offered to both the groom and the bride.

When holding a themed wedding, such as a summer themed wedding or a traditional religious wedding, you can always request for specific catering facilities, such as halal or kosher foods. Many can request for no alcohol at the reception or even designate a separate room for alcohol consumption. Seating arrangements is also entirely up to you, however, you will need to double check how much are you able to put in.

Nearly no hotels will allow construction or changes to the room, but they will allow for themed decorations. How you plan the hall and arrange the seating will be entirely up to you. Some hotels will provide help in the wedding arrangements. However, some hotels will not provide catering so you may need to hire your an external catering service. Other extra expenditure will also include make-up artist, photography, transportation and music. It is always worth asking about the kind of service offered within the price package.
