You hunger after seeing your precious friend or family member who is no longer with you. You desire to know how she is doing or where he is. The agony of missing his or her physical presence it is sometimes too painful to endure.

Losing a spouse, child or friend when death happens is a difficult time. When those special people die, you have an empty feeling that nothing seems to fill. After reflecting upon the loss of my family members and what happens to them, I found a helpful way to understand their new way of life.

Modern TV shows, newspapers and magazines can work against you. They program you to think that everything ends when your special friend or family member dies. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Christians believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead to give eternal life to those who follow Him. In the Gospel of John, Jesus said that there were many rooms in His Father's house. He promised to go ahead and prepare room for those who followed Him. This promise of Jesus is nearly two thousand years old.

One of the most troubling thoughts that many people have is they when ask "When is my loved one coming home?" and then they think that their loved one is gone away for good and will never come home again.

Many times we just don't know how to realize that they are home -- home with God. And that someday we hope to join them. A poem for the deceased that prompts that thought is invaluable after a loved one has died.

The truth is that death is a doorway into a new home, an entrance to new way of living life with God and you. Just like when our loved ones are at home with us and spend time in our living room. In God's house, our deceased loved ones are in God's living room. Still living, just in a different place and in a different way.

Your love and friendship with your departed loved ones does not stop overnight when their body stops working. While they were living on this earth, it took time to grow in love, faith and hope. That life does not end when they die. As difficult as it may seem right now, life is actually getting better for them and you. Your loved one is at home with God. You hope to go through the door to meet them some day.

Like a wall hanging that is completed, the tapestry of their human life has been finished. It now hangs in the living room of God's house. This is a wonderful life that you can celebrated today, tomorrow and forever. All you need to do is use a prayer and poems for deceased family members to remember your connection every day of your life.
