Which Cellular Phone Service Should You Pick
This is a really good question because with so much choice it can get very difficult to know which is the best cell phone service provider and who can give you what you the best pricing. With so many players in the marketplace like AT&T, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless choosing a service plan and trying to understand who can provide the best service can become a little cumbersome.
Cellular phone service - Coverage
I suppose this section covers two different areas, one is do they have coverage in your local area and the best way to find information on this is to try to talk to any friends or family that may be using this service you are thinking of choosing and simply ask them what they think of the present covers shut that they get is a signal weak is it strong and are they happy that they do not get dropped calls?
The second section is to get an understanding of whether the coverage the service provider provides is just regional or do they also provide a national service for long-distance calls. You need to have an understanding of what type of calls you will be making of course if you are just making local calls and calls in your region then you need to make sure that the service provider can provide this. If however you make national calls you need to choose a network service provider that can supply this type of coverage.
You'll also need to compare pricing from the various providers to make sure that you are getting the best deal on these type of calls just keep this in mind when you start to price around the various different cell phone plans.
Cellular phone service - SMS
Do you use text messages? This is of course very popular and a cheaper way of keeping in contact then making voice calls try and get the best deal from the network service provider on this which you contract. Most providers will put this in a bottle where they may allow a certain amount of text messages to be sent per month without charging any extra then your normal standard contracts fee. Again it's imperative that you compare the various pricing from the network providers and if this is something that you tend to use a lot try and get the best deal possible.
Cellular phone service - International Calling
If you are making international calls or if you travel to other countries you might want to consider a service provider that offers international calling. Of course this is not cheap and can be an expensive service sometimes it is better to purchase a calling card or use a pre-pay SIM card in another country. But, this all depends on your situation and it is difficult to take into account what you may need. If this is something you need to try and get the best pricing possible from the network providers before you sign the contract.
It is always a good idea to contact all of the service providers to see who can offer the best deal and try and play each of these offer each other letting them know that you are getting a better deal from a different provider. This may push them to offer you more free minutes or more text messages or may even get you reduced pricing on your monthly bill. Always be aware that you can negotiate a better price which your presence provider if you let them know that you are thinking of movement and have been given much better options from a different provider.
